Oxford Harlequins captain Andy Noyce has warned his players not to underestimate Witney in Saturday's county cup final at Iffley Road (3.30).

Quins may be two leagues above Witney, who are in their first final, but he says they must treat it as a South West 1 game.

He said: "By league standing and the level we play at, we are seen as the favourites.

"But we'll probably find that Witney are going to have more supporters, which gives them a huge advantage.

"If the crowd are baying for your blood, rather than just supporting you, it gives you something extra to think about.

"I've told the guys not to take anything for granted.

"It's going to be tough, especially if we don't take it up from the start.

"We made mistakes against Basingstoke last week, but we can't allow that to happen on Saturday.

"We went into the semi-final with Chipping Norton pretty much knowing we would win, but this is a different matter."

Quins top try-scorer Andy Henley is suspended, while flanker Dan Bonanno is doubtful with an ankle injury.

But they will looking for scrum half Anthony Cope (pictured) to make a big impact Noyce said: "Missing Andy Henley is a big disappointment, he has given us a real cutting edge recently.

"But as a unit we played well last week and these things happen to every club."

Meanwhile, Witney captain Jez Hicks says they can pull off a shock win, despite Quins having reached three of the last four finals.

He said: "The cup is about a one-off performance and I think on our day we are capable of winning.

"We just feel like we've got nothing to lose."

This is the first time Witney have reached the county cup final since they were formed in 1964, so it will be the biggest match in the club's history.

Hicks added: "We don't want to blow it up too much and get the guys overhyped.

"I think there are three or four supporters coaches coming from the club, so there should be at least 200 people cheering us on."

Player-coach Matt Watts, who needed 20 stitches after an ear injury in the semi-final, returns at fly half.

Witney could not get the RAF to fly Matt Brocklebank back from Bahrain, so Rikki Dore starts at prop.
