A 16-YEAR-OLD boy was the victim of a robbery at knifepoint.
While making his way into Shernhall Street from the Barrett Road junction in Walthamstow, a 17-year-old lad tried to strike up a conversation with the boy, who was listening to his iPod.
After exchanging fake pleasantries a flickknife was produced to ensure the boy handed over his personal stereo.
The attacker also threatened to "bore" the boy if he didn't hand over his mobile phone, which he bizarrely promised to return if they met later in Marlowe Road.
Police are now looking for a thin black youth, about 17, 5ft 10ins, wearing a grey hooded top and a red and white baseball cap with the letter S on it. If you saw the incident on Friday, June 18, at 11am, contact DS Casey on 8529 8666.
