POLICE are asking for anyone who may have been assaulted outside Blackhorse Road train station to step forward after two attacks late last year.

One of the assaults happened in October last year but the 30-year-old victim only reported the incident after he talked to a minicab driver who had a similar experience.

He said he was approached outside the station by a man who repeatedly asked for directions to an address that he had never heard of.

The attacker then said the victim was scum' and without warning made a punching motion towards him and ran off.

The man then felt a pain to his head and found a very slight cut.

The attacker is described as a 46-year-old Asian, 5ft 10ins in height, with short black hair and black, greying beard. He was dressed in Islamic-style clothing.

Any information to the police on 8529 8666.
