SWITZERLAND Gokhan Inler has confirmed he turned down Arsenal to stay at Udinese.
Having seen a number of players quit the club this summer, the Gunners were keen to snap up the talented midfielder.
And the 24-year-old admitted he did consider a move to the Emirates before committing his future to the Serie A club.
“I had considered for about a week,” said Inler.
“You have to see that above all, the more you play the harder the competition.
“And I prefer to remain in Udinese and try to build on last season.”
