Gunners youngster makes England's starting line up

ARSENAL youngster Theo Walcott has made England's starting line up for this evening's World Cup qualifying opener with minnows Andorra in Barcelona.

The 19-year-old makes his first start at senior level for his country playing on the right side of midfield in place of Three Lions legend David Beckham, who is relegated to the bench.

Middlesbrough's Stewart Downing is selected in place of Joe Cole on the left side, while Frank Lampard and Gareth Barry complete the midfield quartet.

Jermain Defoe partners Wayne Rooney up front.

England (to face Andorra): James, Johnson, Terry, Lescott, A Cole, Walcott, Barry, Lampard, Downing, Defoe, Rooney. Subs from: Robinson, Brown, Bridge, Beckham, Bentley, Heskey, J Cole.
