ONE of Arsenal's major power brokers Danny Fiszman claims that manager Arsene Wenger's “head is on the block” after three trophyless seasons.
While the Gunners second largest share-holder has stated that he is fully behind the Frenchman, he has stated that Wenger isn't bulletproof at the Emirates Stadium. "We believe in him but it's his head on the block in the end," the Arsenal director told the News of the World.
But in a show of support to Wenger, Fiszman was quick to back the managers decission to dispose of the services of Mathieu Flamini and Alexander Hleb this season.
He added: "People talk just because Flamini left. He had one great year. One. Before then, he was just a squad player.
"And while Alex was a lovely player at holding the ball, there was no end-product. We have swapped him for Nasri, who already has two goals."

y because Wenger's hands was and still is financially tied, does this sound like a teflon job from the director, weird. Adding the analysis of the departed players....they are no good anyway, good riddense,is it really? when they nearly put arsenal into the history of unexpected glory but for the want of depth?yes lack of depth because of financial hand cuff. Now a teflon job is to support disposition by the manager. But actually Wenger saw their contribution in the present term and was going all out trying to extend their stay so the next batch of players could have a little cover. He did not dispose of them, rather forced upon him by market forces ,inside and out. As things stand, this is the image being projected, this observation may be completely out of order, pray tell us
