JUNIOR FOOTBALL
RIDGEWAY Rovers held their first camp last week and it was a big success.
An average of 50 boys and girls attended the camp each day at Parmiters Sports Ground, Chingford and six club FA qualified coaches took charge of the skills training.
Daily competitions took place and star players were named each day.
Now, following the success of the first camp, Ridgeway Rovers are organising a second event to run in the Autumn half-term.
This camp will start on October 27 and bookings for places are now being taken.

Snaresbrook Youth 4
Chelmsford City 2
(Friendly U18s)
SNARESBROOK dominated the first half although Chelmsford had an early chance when the ball was cleared off the line by the excellent Sean Dardis.
A missed penalty by Snaresbrook’s Dave Otley was followed by a magnificent goal from new signing Jason Goldstein.
Snaresbrook’s second came from Ollie Young-Myles who made the most of a cross from skipper Josh Woodcock.
And it was Woodcock – last season’s top goalscorer – who then made it 3-0.
Goldstein hit home a fourth for The Brook just before the half-time whistle.
After the break Chelmsford enjoyed a comeback by hitting home two goals – the second from a penalty kick after Brook keeper Toby Smyth went the wrong way.
