Coca Cola League One, Saturday, August 30, 3pm

HEAD TO HEAD: Orient 30 wins, Brighton 36 wins, draws 21.

LAST TIME AT THE WITHDEAN: Brighton 1 Orient 1 (1-03-2008). A Jabo Ibehre goal ten minutes from time looked to have given the O’s the points, but an injury-time penalty from Nicky Forster rescued a draw for the Seagulls.

FORM: Brighton were unbeaten after four games. Their season started strongly with a 2-1 win over Crewe and a 4-0 victory in the Coca Cola Cup over Barnet, followed by a 1-1 draw with Bristol Rovers. Micky Adams’ men maintained their excellent start to the season with a 2-0 win at Southend on Friday night.

DANGER MAN: Much-travelled striker Forster has already struck four times for the Seagulls this season and has found the back of the Orient net in both of his previous games against them. The 34-year-old will be looking to keep that record going when the two sides meet on Saturday. Forster has also had spells with Hull, Ipswich, Reading, Birmingham, Brentford and Gillingham.

FUN FACT: TV sports presenter Des Lynam is a well known Brighton supporter. The housewife’s favourite has presented shows such as Grandstand, Match of the Day, Sportsnight and most recently Countdown.

  PREDICTION: Brighton 1 Orient 2
