ORIENT boss has once again had to shuffle his pack because of injuries ahead of the east Londoners match at Brighton.

The east Londoners are without five first team squad members, including new signing Dean Morgan.

The forward, who joined on-loan from Luton until January on Wednesday has a slight strain and misses the Withdean clash.

Also absent are full-back Danny Granville (groin) striker Wayne Gray (knee), centre-half Tamika Mkandawire (groin) and midfielder Solomon Shields (ankle).

That has seen Spurs loanee Simon Dawkins handed his first competitive start for the O's, while young left-back Aiden Palmer also makes the starting XI in place of the experience Granville.

Still missing from Ling's 16-man squad is Sean Thornton, who has fallen out of favour with the O's boss and doesn't make the subs bench for the second weekend running.

Winger JJ Melligan, does however return after being ruled out against Carlisle last Saturday with a virus.

Orient: Glenn Morris, Stephen Purches (capt), Alton Thelwell, Brian Saah, Aiden Palmer; Ryan Jarvis, Adam Chambers, Paul Terry, Jason Demetriou; Simon Dawkins, Adam Boyd. Subs: Jamie Jones (GK), JJ Melligan, Andrew Cave-Brown, Loick Pires, Luke Ashworth.
