MARTIN Ling has handed Orient chairman Barry Hearn a hit-list of strikers he would like to bring in on-loan.

The O's boss, who has been searching for a big frontman for months now was disappointed to see former target Kevin Kyle join one of the east Londoners' League One rivals.

Ling had made an enquiry for the Coventry hitman, but was put off by the players wages and was surprised to see that Hartlepool had been able to strike a deal for the Scotland international.

He said: “I have now got a list with three names on it and I've taken it to the chairman to see where we can go with it.

“Of course all three are good names, but then they are all earning good money so it will be a case of seeing what happens.

“Yes it is frustrating when you look at the Kevin Kyle situation because we made a solid enquiry but couldn't match his money, yet the next minute you see him at Hartlepool.”
