LAST TIME AT THE MEMORIAL STADIUM: Bristol Rovers 3 Orient 3 (27-11-2007) Despite both Wayne Corden and Jabo Ibehre being sent-off during the matchOrient took this FA Cup first round replay to extra time and then penalties. In the end the Gas ran out 6-5 winners in the shoot-out to break the visitors’ hearts after what was without doubt their bravest performance of the season. The O’s had won the league fixture at the Memorial Stadium two months earlier after coming from 2-0 down to win 3-2.

FORM: Rovers are in the middle of a three-match unbeaten run after they won 1-0 at Colchester on Saturday. Before that they drew 0-0 against Crewe and 2-2 at Yeovil.

DANGER MAN: Rickie Lambert has once again been in good form in front of goal, with his winner on Saturday at Colchester taking his tally for the season up to nine.

FUN FACT: The former chairman of the England Test cricket selectors David Graveney (below) is reported to be a Pirates fan.
